The protein meal plan is generally good, and I have been ordering from Family Chef for the past few months. However, the meals can be somewhat bland, and breakfast options are infrequent in the monthly plan—perhaps only twice a month. For someone like myself, who wakes up around 5 a.m. wanting something other than a main course, I find the breakfast selection lacking. The chef could introduce many new recipes to brighten the menu, but they choose not to, stating that the current meals are sufficient. Nonetheless, I sometimes mix up the meals or create my own. It can become quite repetitive month after month, and although initially all the meals felt like opening a new Kinder Egg, one soon becomes accustomed to their taste even before opening the sealed container. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and I have recommended them to others as well. Eating clean is important to me, and I have noticed a significant improvement in my eating habits.
