Light yet really tasty. You will be surprised how well couscous can be combined with sweet peas and chicken especially when chicken is marinated with our homemade marinate to give it that extra taste!

Ingredients delivered per portion

  1. 200 g chicken breast
  2. Chicken marinate: balsamic vinegar, chicken stock, sugar, pressed garlic
  3. 100 couscous
  4. 1/2 cube chicken stock
  5. 20 g unsalted butter
  6. 1 thyme branch
  7. 80 g sweet peas
  8. 140 ml water – not included

Ingredients: chicken breast, chicken marinate (balsamic vinegar, chicken stock (MAY CONTAIN TRACE OF GLUTEN, MILK, EGG, SOY, CALERY, FISH & CRUSTACEANS), sugar, pressed garlic), couscous 22.22% (SEMOLINA HARD WHEAT, GLOUTEN), cube chicken stock, unsalted butter (MILK), thyme branch, sweet peas

Preparing a meal is now as easy as 1-2-3! 

Ready in 25 minutes

  1. Place chicken marinate in a bowl and add chicken. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Boil water in a kettle and pour in a bowl. Add chicken stock and stir well to dilute. Add couscous and cover with cling film or kitchen cloth for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove leaves from thyme branch. Melt butter in a non-stick frying pan in medium heat and add thyme and sauté for 3 minutes while stirring. Add couscous and cook for another 2 minutes while stirring.
  4. Heat a non-stick frying pan in medium heat. Remove chicken from marinate and place in the frying pan. Sauté each side for 4 minutes.
  5. Add the chicken marinate and the sweet peas. Cook for 2 more minutes or until the sauce is thickened.
  6. Remove chicken from sauce and place on a chopping board. Cut vertically in 1-cm slices.
  7. For serving, first add couscous in plate and top with the chicken and the sauce with the sweet peas.
